In 2023, 32 of the best performing hospitals in the nation were part of the HCA Healthcare family, according to Fortune/PINC AI’s Top 100 Hospitals annual study.
Healthgrades recognized 105 HCA Healthcare hospitals with at least one Specialty Excellence Award in 2023 for delivering superior patient outcomes in a specific area. Enterprise-wide, nearly 600 awards were received with 17 hospitals being recognized for the first time.
Healthgrades 250 Best Hospitals Award recognizes the top 5% of hospitals nationwide for clinical excellence. In early 2024, 54 HCA Healthcare hospitals were included on the list. Of those, 10 made the Top 100.
The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) has recognized 17 HCA Healthcare hospitals with a Magnet Designation and 19 with a Pathway Designation. Magnet Recognition designates organizations where nurse leaders successfully align their nursing strategic goals to improve the organization’s patient outcomes. The ANCC Pathway to Excellence Program recognizes a healthcare organization’s commitment to creating a positive practice environment that empowers and engages staff.
