“Everyone stay home, because if we could we would. Not so much for ourselves, but for our loved ones at home. There’s a lot of us with immunocompromised loved ones and/or children at home so we have to take more extreme measures than people who don’t work in healthcare. We are changing clothes and shoes before getting into our cars, washing our scrubs after each shift, and even sending our loved ones to stay elsewhere in hopes of not passing the virus to them. I understand that this is scary for everyone, but that’s why it is encouraged to STAY HOME.”
