Crush The Crisis. Opioid Take Back Day

Giving communities we serve a healthier tomorrow

The opioid crisis has been declared a public health emergency. Every day, more than 130 people in the United States die from opioid-related drug overdoses. The misuse of prescription opioids often begins when they are obtained from a friend or family member’s medicine cabinet.

On Saturday, September 7, we invite you to “Crush the Crisis” by participating in an opioid take back event near you. More than 65 HCA Healthcare facilities, spanning 13 states, will partner with local law enforcement to raise awareness about opioid addiction and collect unused and expired prescription medications.

Hospital staff, volunteers and uniformed law enforcement officers will be on site to help with the safe and anonymous disposal of your unwanted medications.

Locate a collection site near you. Call (833) 582-1970.
