Deb Reiner is senior vice president, marketing, communications and customer relationship management (CRM) for HCA Healthcare, the nation’s leading provider of healthcare services. She is responsible for the company’s marketing and communications strategy and related operations, and engaging key audiences to support HCA’s strategic agenda and patients-first culture.
A 17-year veteran of HCA, Reiner spent her first 12 years in the company’s Mountain Division in various roles around marketing, planning, and service line growth. Since transitioning to HCA’s corporate office, she has led the activity to launch MyHealthOne patient portal, established an enterprise platform for websites and digital modules, and merged five separate patient-facing call centers into a shared service model dedicated to enhancing growth, retention, and patient engagement.
Over the years, Reiner has supported a variety of community organizations, including committee work for United Way and Catholic Health Charities. She was also a founding member of “Life After Breast Cancer” – an annual celebration of life for breast cancer patients, survivors and their families in Utah that was started when survivorship of breast cancer was less advanced than it is today.
Reiner has a degree in journalism from the University of Wyoming and a master’s in organizational management from the University of Phoenix.
